ShopAppy was founded in 2016 with the sole purpose of keeping the local shops alive. After seeing the increasing competition from online shopping giants, many local shops began struggling. ShopAppy gives local shops and businesses in every town a 24-hour shop window, doesn’t take commission on sales and encourages shoppers to look at what amazing things are on their doorstep which in turn inspires visits and customers.

Shopappy had a sponsorship from VISA, they had sourced some OOH sights across the UK that were available for use during the pandemic for free for a good cause, as well as funding the update of the website and rebranding. Needing to push the business during this key moment when the service couldn't be more necessary, so time was of the essence. Simply the task was to create new, modern branding assets as well as a campaign for their social feed, website and the OOH formats.

I explored the branding alongside the team, with lead designer Talveer Uppal and Marcos Almeida on illustration. I then created a style guide/mini brand guidelines for the client with the chosen direction and worked on social/digital and print formats.
