Dementia threatens memories and human connection, but Sea Hero Quest turned mobile gaming into a scientific breakthrough. Developed to collect critical spatial navigation data, it engaged millions of players to help fight dementia.

With 47.5 million cases worldwide, scientists needed data—fast. Leveraging 3 billion gaming hours weekly, this mobile game gathered research 150x faster than clinical trials. The result? 2.7M downloads, 72 years of gameplay, and 112 centuries of vital research data, transforming dementia research.

I worked closely alongside Head of Design, Bruno Di Lucca and the design team, creating ‘VR’ Logo variations, print ads, OOH placements and character animations.
